Funnyness @ grocery store

So we were at the grocery store. Was buying Lobsters as they were on sale for Mom day.

Got to the cashier with the lobsters in the box (live) jokingly said to the cashier that they were new pets.

Or at least I thought it was a joke. She took me literally and asked if they were really going to be pets. I said that they were not pets but dindin...

So I am training on a part I for cubs.

I was doing the session on music.

We were talking about gross songs for the kids.

One of the candidates said "Found a Penis"....
It took me a little time to process what was said

What???? I says...

She repeated it as "Found a Peanut" (which is actually a song)

She totally didn't say that the first time.

It was really funny!

Camping and Vehicles

I unofficially, officially own a vehicle. My mom has purchased a new (used) car for us. So I am inheriting Pinky until she dies.

I would really love to get out more this summer and camp (almost) every weekend. I would love to have people come with me so that we can split costs. I own a tent, I can borrow a stove, I have a car.

I would also like to try geocaching and am looking at different types of GPS units atm.

Gnomes are awesome.

We had an all Gnome game as a farewell to our fine feathered friends (I know that they aren't feathered) from the PHB 4.0.

It was awesome. We caused all sorts of hell. Made riots, and had a mayor thrown out and a new mayor (or our choosing) elected.

All this without killing anything!

Although we didn't get our 6000 hats

A terabyte of data

There is a dell employee program at work where we get discounted dell stuff.

I have been looking at a new machine mainly to kill time.

So I was looking at the avaliable HDs. There are some terabyte ones. A fucking bloody TG. For fuck's bloody sakes. Who in the hell has a TB of data to store as a private citizen. We have a 200 GB HD on our current desktop, it stores 2 images, 500 media files, plus pix and we are no where near full. What in the fuck is a person supposed to do with a TB of space?

So I got a letter in the mail on Thursday after I got home from work and before I rushed out to get Pete to fencing and me to cubs.

I had been nominated and given an award for outstanding community service. I was right pleased. I am gonna get a Scouts Canada Medal of the Maple for outstanding youth service. I'm pretty psyched.

Gonna get it in May.

I have been wanting eggs benedicts for a couple of days now. We didnt have the stuff to make hollandaise sauce so I made a simple cheese sauce and made it that way.

It was very yummy. I would suggest it to all.
